In summary, If you’re out of credit and you don’t want to borrow airtime you can still make calls to your friends and loved ones and they’ll get a FLASH CALL to call you back.
According to a message by MTN;
Out of credit? Don?t want to borrow? No problem! Make calls to your friends and loved ones TODAY and they will get a FLASH CALL to call you right back.
Unfortunately, this free flashing feature isn’t available to all MTN users, which means that it is based on eligibility; I guess you’ll be eligible if you received the above message on your sim.
However, If you’re picked then Flash call ain’t limited to just mtn numbers only but it also works for Airtel, 9mobile and Glo users respectively.
I guess this flash call eligibility is done based on daily selections, as it’s still in its beta state, maybe they’ll roll it out fully and make it avilable to all users when they decide.
