There are two ways to check the battery life of AirPods on an android device.

The first method is by looking it up in the Bluetooth menu while it’s connected to your device.

Secondly, you can check the battery percentage from the charging case.

It all depends on the type of AirPods you’re using and the features that come with it. Those who use third-party AirPods can use the first method while those using apple AirPods can use the former.

  1. Make sure your AirPods are connected to your Android
  2. Open the settings app  > Connected Devices
  3. You should see the connected Airpods battery status.

It usually displays as Active, 100% battery – for instance – You can now decide to continue using it or put it back into its charging case.

Also, some charging cases might display the AirPods charging level and its progress as it charges it.

So, you can consider placing the AirPods into its case and see if it shows the battery information.

How to Check AirPods Battery on Samsung Phones

Checking a connected AirPods battery percentage is quite different for Samsung devices

Here is a way to check your AirPods battery level.

  1. Connect the AirPods to your Samsung device
  2. Go to settings > Connection > Bluetooth
  3. You can also tap and hold on the Bluetooth icon on the taskbar
  4. You’ll see your AirPods battery percentage under the paired devices tab

Simply make sure your AirPods are connected for calls and audio before it’ll be able to show you the amount of battery remaining.

How to Check AirPods Battery on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

Checking your AirPods battery on iOS devices seems a lot different as you’ll need to have the AirPods in the case.

Also, it’s necessary that the AirPods in question should have been paired to the device before now.

  1. Navigate to the control centre on your iPhone
  2. Tap on the Bluetooth icon to turn it on
  3. Now, lift the lid of the charging case with the AirPods still inside
  4. A pop-up should display the battery percentage of the AirPods and the case

You can also use a battery widget or Siri commands to check the battery level of your AirPods

How to Check AirPods Charging Case Percentage

Different AirPods have their percentage indicators, some have three dots, others use light indicators while some AirPods vividly display numbers.

Apple AirPods for instance display colour indicators of green, orange and no light to give you an understanding of your AirPods status
