Why Can’t Callers Hear me on my AirPods – FIXED
Implementing one or all of the below fixes will get callers to hear you clearer on your AirPods.
1. Give your Airpods Permission to Call
While most Airpods gain this permission by default, there’s an option that disallows your Airpods to be used for calls.
What it does is that you can only use your AirPods for music, playing voice notes, and anything audio related but not for calls.
You should check if the settings haven’t been enabled by mistake.
- Go to Bluetooth

2. Set Your Airpods as the Primary microphone

7. Restart your Device
Restarting your device may come in handy in resolving issues like this.
Once the reboot process is complete, try making calls once again and see if the problem is resolved.
8. Forget your AirPods Connection
Forgetting your AirPods connection simply means to unpair your AirPods from your device. This can be done from the list of Bluetooth connections.
Tap on the particular Airpods connection and select “Unpair” or “Forget” to delete the device.
You can now reconnect the AirPods and see if the issue has been resolved.
9. Reset your AirPods
If the above technique doesn’t work then you’ll need to totally reset your AirPods itself to reset the system.
