Interestingly, most of us use VLC for watching films on our mobile and PCs, so this should be a great recommendation for us all, you can also save audio files as WAV, FLAC, or OGG extensions but we’ll be dealing with MP3 extensions for this post.
The conversion also reduces the size of the video file as it changes to audio. This works without the use of additional apps, all you need is VLC Media installed on your device, and then you can proceed with the next steps;

Video Tutorial
The conversion from video to audio is not just limited to MP3 format. You must have noticed other formats in the convert dialogue. The profiles that come by default are Vorbis (OGG), FLAC, and CD. You can also select WAV as the encapsulation in the conversion profile editor. There are also several audio codecs like MPEG Audio, MPEG 4 Audio (AAC), A52/AC-3, Vorbis, Flac, Opus, Speex, and WMA2. These are advanced audio formats and just MP3 would be enough for most of us.
The converted MP3 file can now be easily copied to your smartphone, PC, music player, or any other mobile audio-playing device
